I want you to make a living, doing what you love.
And I mean to really make a living!
One that supports you, your lifestyle and the vision for your future.
But right now, you’re not making as much progress as you’d hoped for.
You have so much to do. So much to learn. And not enough time to get it all done.
Sometimes it feels really overwhelming.
You’re not sure what to focus on, so you end up doing the tasks that are easy, the ones that are quick, the ones where you have experience, or the ones that excite you.
Things that kinda seem important…
but are they?
Before deciding how to focus your time, energy and resources, you first need to have CLARITY!
- who you’re in business for
- what exactly you’re selling
- how to price it so you make a living
- and how to talk about it so that customers buy
With clarity everything will change for you!
You’ll feel less overwhelmed, take back control of your time, feel confident in your decisions, stay focused on the right tasks AND start seeing real progress in your business.
And by real progress, I mean customers and revenue and results!
what I want for you
I want you to thrive as a business owner!
Even if you know nothing about business, I truly believe the fundamental skills that you truly need can all be learned and applied strategically. It’s really about attitude and not ability!
I want you to build a business that aligns with your values, both personally and professionally, so that you stay true to yourself and your vision.
I want you to still have time for all those other things in life that are important to you, because there really is a lot more to life than our work.
And I want you to be brave!
I want you to get past that voice in your head that tells you it’s scary, that you can’t do it, or that you’re not good enough.
I want you to achieve everything that you set your sights on!
why do I care so much about your business?
The truth is, life is short.
I don’t want you to be sitting there three years from now wishing that you’d done something differently. I don’t want you to be stuck on an unfulfilling path, living a life you don’t really love.
I’ve been there. And it really sucked!
But in 2012, I stepped off the ‘expected’ path of education, career, marriage, kids, retirement and decided to run my own business.
It really is amazing to be your own boss and to be in charge of your destiny. You can come up with ideas, call all the shots and actually see the results of the hard work you put in.
And despite the low points that inevitably come along the way, I have never looked back!
How could I!?
Now I get to spend each day feeling truly fulfilled as I support you in realising your dreams – making a living, doing work you love, while living life on your terms.
how did I figure it all out?
As one of my tattoos says, “Je suis née pour faire cela”.
I was born to do this.
My brain was built to function in a logical, structured way and even as a kid I was fascinated about how business works.
I went on to get my degree in Management & Organizational Behavior from New York University, and then started working for JP Morgan straight out of university. With them, I was able to turn big ideas into reality for nearly a decade, first in NYC, then Chicago, and then London.
At any one time, I had up to 5 different projects on the go, with multiple to do lists for each one. I became really good at developing strategy.
I figured out which pieces went where and how to follow the steps. I learned how to get people to engage and take action. When things didn’t quite go to plan, I taught myself to take a step back and look at it from a different perspective.
I was promoted to Vice President before the age of 30 and was considered very ‘successful’. But the more I climbed up the corporate ladder, the more I hated it. I didn’t want that corner office. I didn’t want to manage a large team. I didn’t want to spend the rest of my life doing work that really didn’t fulfill me. Moving to HSBC for a couple years didn’t change any of that.
And so, I left.
With literally no plan and no idea of where I wanted to head.
I knew I was smart. I knew I had potential. I knew I was made for bigger things. Yet I had no idea what those things were.
What I had forgotten was how much I LOVE connecting with people and helping them improve. I realised I wanted to make a difference through my work. I wanted something that would give me more freedom. I wanted to be my own boss.
After a few months of figuring out what was important to me, I eventually made my way to a coaching school and started out on this exciting new path.
Fast forward to now.
I have supported dozens of business owners in my one-to-one programs, and hundreds more in group programs, courses and workshops that I’ve developed over the years.
I’ve partnered with numerous incubation and accelerator programs in Europe and Africa to support the entrepreneurs within their networks (check out my full bio over on LinkedIn).
And I’ve relocated from London to Nairobi! I expanded my business into this region and launched a second successful business in 2018.
I have rebuilt my life entirely on my terms, and I want to help you to do the same!
here’s what I know.
I know how rewarding it is to make a living from work I love, standing true to my values, and being in charge of my own destiny.
But I’ve also been an entrepreneur for long enough to know that sometimes this journey is HARD!
It takes time, consistent effort and courage to keep going!
Even though I had lots of previous business experience, none of that stuff truly prepared me for running my own business. There was so much business stuff that I had never done before (including tech stuff, marketing, selling, and more!).
I first had to learn all these new concepts and then I had to learn how to apply them all to my own business – without the support network of colleagues or others who had done it before.
I had to figure out how to pay the bills. I had to face rejection. I had to face fear. I had to face my own insecurities about feeling like an imposter.
I had to make a lot of mistakes. I had to try, learn, change, and try again.
And, you know what? It worked.
I have made a profit within the first 18 months of each business I’ve created.
And you can do the same!
Whether you’re just getting started with your business or you’re a few years down the road, your success starts with clarity and then strategy.
With the right knowledge, the right tools, the right focus and the right support you can absolutely make a living doing what you love!
