If you wait until you’re ready, you’ll be waiting for the rest of your life.
There will always be reasons to tell yourself you’re not ready.
Maybe you haven’t figured out your visual identity.
Or you haven’t worked out who your clients are.
Maybe you’re afraid to put yourself out there.
Perhaps you’re afraid of rejection and what others will think.
You tell yourself that everything needs to be perfect.
Or that you x, y and z need to happen first.
you’re ready enough!
Over the past two months, I’ve been documenting the evolution of my business. And although it has taken longer than expected (partly due to dependencies on other people, and partly due to my own procrastination), it’s time.
Am I completely ready? No.
There are some pages on my site that still need revisions and others I need to create.
And graphics which currently aren’t super responsive on mobile.
And new pages I need to create.
Plus a to do list of 13 other sizeable tasks that I still need to do behind the scenes.
And the truth is, there will always be more. The do list will continue to grow. New ideas will come. At no point will business be 100% perfect.
so, I’ve stopped waiting
The longer I wait, the less you know about me and what I can do for you.
The less you know, the less likely you are to reach out for help.
If fewer people reach out, eventually my business will suffer.
And if you wait until you’re ready, this will happen to you and your business, too!
here’s what has changed around here
Those of you who have been around for awhile will notice immediately that my visual identity has changed. My logo is different, my colour palette now has pinks and greys and yellow, and I’ve finally removed the 4 year old photo of me with fringe!
I feel proud of this new identity. I want to share my website with the world again. It properly represents what I stand for, and what my business stands for.
who I support
If you’re trying to make a living doing work that you love, without compromising on your values, then you’re in the right place.
You are driven, determined and passionate. You’re willing to admit that you don’t know everything about running a business. Yet you’re also open to external input and trying different things.
You’re ready to put in the work and take consistent action.
You’re likely to be an over-achiever, which can cause you to feel overwhelmed at times. You may have a hard time saying no. Staying focused can be a challenge.
But you want to feel accomplished. You dream of success.
how I can help
